Having children is a big change in your life and it certainly was for me too. So many questions, so many new words and things you needed to find out, especially living in a foreign country.
I therefore decided to create this little universe Pippa Petit.
There's certainly no shortage of baby and kids products out there, but here we would like to focus on things a bit differently. We're not trying to be all things to all people but we are definitely trying to be something.
I have always admired fashion in my own life and being Danish, Scandinavian brands naturally catch my eye and this was much the same for little Pippa's wardrobe. I love the design, time and values that are put into many Scandinavian products.
Living in London, with all its beauty but also all its pollution got me thinking of what this little baby would be exposed to and how I could minimize it.
I therefore started reading about chemicals in food, fabrics etc. and then about different types of certifications clothes could get and what effect this have on a baby’s skin, the environment and even the employees producing these clothes.
Here I found my answer, I would like to start a small webshop selling children’s clothes that are great design, made from sustainable materials and produced with consideration to the end costumer and all around it.
I want to spread the good vibes around this type of product and values.
As a small, new business we would like to focus on Scandinavian brands that are either organic, OEKO-TEX certified, GOTS-certified or equivalent and these are the type of products we would like to introduce to you here.
This is still a learning curve for us as well and when new questions arise with us or from you we will try to reflect on these on our little blog Pippa’s Blog.
You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram for information on new products, discounts and sales, new blog posts etc.
We are very much looking forward to share this with all of you.
